Ever wanted a useless program to download images from flickr to spell words? Well you're in luck, "Spell with flickr" is a service to just that.
Web2.0
It works quite well almost every time. This project obviously isn't practical, but it is a great learning experience. Erik Kastner has made the entire project open source. It's coded in a combination of PHP and JavaScript. The source of it can be downloaded from his website. (Main Source, RSS Source, JS Source).

Granted Erik wasn't the only person to do this, but his is by far the most accurate. There have been other attempts at making such things using Google's image search as well. It's still a cool concept and a great example of how to do it using PHP.
