Yourminis is a flash based homepage, dedicated to bringing your favorite content to one sleek homepage. Launched in October 2006 and owned by California based Goowy, Yourminis is set to compete with some top sites such as Netvibes. Yourmini's approach is somewhat different because of its use of Flash instead of Ajax. Upon loading its competitors which are primarily made in Ajax, they're fairly slow; a hard refresh takes about five seconds. Yourminis is considerably less weighing in at 3 seconds.

The site is very customizable, and has several widgets for popular sites such as Digg or del.icio.us. You can add your own RSS feeds as well. You can resize them, exit out of them, or change their color. The data is saved via cookie even if you don't sign up/log in. You can even add more than one tab for content. It has dozens of podcast blogs, tech blogs, as well as standard features such as time and weather. It's definitely worth checking out, as it seems better than most Ajax sites that are trying to do the same thing.
