Camping For The Wii

Camping For The Wii

Yup, I camped for the Wii. I had a really good time, and there were a lot of nice people. I’ve heard of a lot of bad things happening in the PS3 launch lines, but the Wii ones were very tame. The people were playing football and frisbee. They even let me hop out of line for 15 minutes to go get some Denny’s. I got there at around 3am, and it was snowing and freezing. At 7am Wal-Mart let 20 people in the store to buy it. I was number 16. I felt bad for the kid in front of me because his credit card was declined. He swiped it twice and still no go. He got out his debit card for which he had a $45 dollar balance in his checking account for. Swiped it and it was STILL declined. Luckily the cashier told him to run and come back with cash. He gave him an hour before he resold the Wii. I’m not going to post all pics, but you can view all the pictures in an un-indexed folder. If you’re wondering if I sold it on eBay or kept it, the answer is I want to see how much I can get for it. If I can make $100 profit, I will sell it. If not I’ll gladly keep it.

I hear the Nintendo Wii is capable of picking up bluetooth signals. I know the controllers use bluetooth technology, but for it to be able to pickup and download pictures and such from bluetooth is fascinating. I am curious to know why Nintendo hasn’t released information that the Wii is capable of such a thing, maybe they just don’t know. I know the Motorola Razr uses bluetooth and this would be a great way to transfer photos, MP3s, and Videos if your laptop or PC doesn’t support it. Unfortunally you need to have an SD Card in the Wii to do this, but that’s a small price to pay.

I’ve heard that as well. From my understanding you need to have your bluetooth setting on your phone set so it doesn’t require a confirmation to accept the transfer. I have an SD card, but no blue tooth phone heh.
