PandoWith Gmail and other services offering gigs of disk space, what's the point when they limit your attachment size? If you're ever in need to send large files over the internet, but can't find anywhere to upload it pando is for you. You can attach the small .pando file to your email and send it. The receiver will need the pando software to start the download. The file is downloaded in chunks, off pando servers as well as your home computer and anyone else who has the file. It's basically a mini peer to peer system. The pando file itself is very small weighing in at 10 kbs. Pando not only works on Windows, but Macs as well.
Pando
At the moment there are some restrictions on what you can upload. The maximum file size is 1 gigabyte, which should be plenty. Along with the file size restrictions, pando only keeps the file for 14 days.

The interface of pando is very sleek, and easy to use. It's completely noob proof and offers a video tutorial to get you started. It has a variety of configuration options, to customize it specifically for you. This includes proxy support, and automatic notification of updates.

Pando is off course a free service now, and forever. The folks at pando have spent years figuring out the best way to transfer large files over the internet so you don't have to. Sharing your digital media has never been easier.
