Portable PuTTy For Thumb Drive: Configuration Files Instead Of Regkeys

I’ve always used PuTTy for all my SSH needs. The only issue I’ve had with it, is that there is no easy way to back up my configuration when I format my computer. Sure you could back up the registry keys, and import them after you’ve formatted. Sure you could write them down. However the best option would be a version of PuTTy that saves all the options in to a configuration file.

That’s exactly what this hacked up version of PuTTy does. It’s meant for a USB thumb drive, and stores all the needed information in an INI file. Not only is it for PuTTy, but for all tools by the same makers. You can get the modded versions for:
