Firefox Extension: Download Flash Files In The Sidebar

Sometimes I come across flash games that are fun and addicting. Currently with Firefox there is no easy way to download the game. Picking through the source code of the website isn't an easy task, if the swf is hidden well. SWF catcher is a perfect solution to downloading flash files. It lists all of them in a side bar, and gives you a right click menu. One of the options on the menu is to it to your hard drive.

To open the side bar, click "View > Sidebar > Sothink SWF Catcher." It'll then list all the flash files on that website, and you can open it in a new location to make sure you have the correct file. It's perfect for storing a handful of games on a USB thumb drive for work or school.

Swf Catch

The only thing I'd suggest for this extension is a right click context menu. I'd like quick access to save files that I specify via right click. If not enabled by default, at least make it an option. Currently there are no configuration options for this extension.

Alex don’t you mean a right-click menu, when refering to firefox sidebar?

Hmm I can see where that might have been a little confusing. I’ve updated the post, thanks.
