Wiimote Dock To Charge Batteries
If you play the Wii a decent amount of hours a week, the batteries typically will list for 5-6 days. Batteries aren't the cheapest things to buy, and there are alternatives. JoyTech is going to be selling a charging station that can fit up to two Wiimotes, and two nun-chucks. It appears to have a USB cord in the back in which you can plug into the back of the Wii, thus using the Wii as the power source. It will come with the needed rechargeable battery back. It will be available in 38 days from now, for a price of $40. [source]
If you're interested in just buying rechargeable batteries, you should keep in mind they are all not the same. Some lose charge while not being used, and others just plain don't last as long as normal batteries. I've had great success with Energizer's e2 batteries. They absolutely don't lose their charge, and are the only kind of rechargeable batteries that I trust in my Nitro R/C cars. A battery charger that is compatible with those batteries is made by energizer, and is $20. You can charge AA, AAA, C, D, and 9v batteries with this particular one.
Which solution you choose is obviously up to you, but buying either of these will save you a lot of money in the future. If you're an avid player, it will only take you a month to pay for itself.
